With its pool of talent, skill and experience, it follows that members of the DeLi- ma family will be among the teachers and hosting some of the master classes.
The school, which is lo- cated on the second floor of the Macy’s wing, will offer a slate of individual classes in- cluding voice, ‘ukulele, gui- tar, bass and piano. Group classes for choir, ‘ukulele, guitar and dance are also available.
The school’s motto is em- blazoned on one of its walls: Be Yourself, Believe in Your- self, And Play Loud. Does this include sharing the stu- dents’ music with the public?

                               “We will be offering indi- vidual and group lessons to our students weekly, as well as monthly workshops and master classes with local en- tertainers and accomplished musicians,” Kalena adds.
“We will absolutely have recitals and are excited to host performances at the Windward Mall on center- stage and elsewhere,” Kalena states.
        The individual classes are available for all ability lev- els, as they are private les- sons tailored to each student. Private classes include four 30-minute sessions a month. Group classes are one hour a week, available in monthly increments.
“What we’re really hoping to offer our students, though, is a space that feels like a second home and teachers who feel like extended ‘oha- na. I think music and per- forming arts are so needed in our communities to help encourage mental and emo- tional wellness and to create a culture of community and togetherness.
