University of Hawai‘i – West O‘ahu faculty mem- ber Lynette Kahekili Ka- opuiki Paglinawan recently received one of the highest honors in social work. The National Association of Social Works Foundation recognized the community leader for her decades-long work to integrate the Na- tive Hawaiian practice of ho‘oponopono (healing ritual of reconciliation and forgiveness) into social work in Hawai‘i.
