Kapolei City Lions Club Members Get Out In The Community
(Below and right) Kapolei City Lions Club, along with Kapolei High School’s LEO (Leadership Experience Opportunity) Club, gathered outside Kapolei Walmart to ring the red kettle bell and collect donations for The Salvation Army. A slipper- wearing Grinch stopped by to show his support. The groups also lent a hand at a Going Green Day E-Waste Recycling event in December — just in time for everyone’s new year cleanup efforts. Items collected include computers, printers, TVs, batteries, HI-5 beverage containers, canned goods for the Hawai‘i Foodbank, clothing, eyeglasses, and pet food and towels for animals.
