 While shopping for their own holiday meals, West O‘ahu residents can help put food on the table for another local ‘ohana, thanks to Hawai‘i Food- bank’s Check-Out Hunger campaign.

Now through Jan. 20, shoppers can give the gift of food by adding a $5, $10 or $20 donation to their grocery bill at participating stores, including:

Contributions made during the campaign will assist local keiki, kūpu- na and families. Since its launch in 1993, the Check- Out Hunger program has raised more than $3 mil- lion.
