Duke’s Oceanfest Shares The Meaning Of Aloha
Most the competitions and events take place at Queen’s Surf on Kūhiō Beach in Waikīkī, the world’s most fa- mous beach.
For Duke, it clearly is all about aloha, giving back to others, staying humble and never giving up the dream. I always share Duke’s creed — and this week is no exception. Here it is:
On the world tour stage, we’re at Huntington Beach for the Vans U.S. Open of Surfing.
I personally prefer to see opportunities to do a bunch of turns even if the surf is small. But hey, everyone’s playing with the same dice. And I’m always watching no matter what.
