AARP Hawai‘i Offers Gentle Yoga Webinars For Area Kūpuna

  West Oʻahu residents are invited to join a series of free yoga class, all thanks to nonprofit AARP Ha- waiʻi, without ever leaving their home.

 Titled Introduction to Gentle Yoga for Old- er Adults, the webinars are available via Zoom at 9 a.m. every Thursday through April 22.

Kūpuna will receive instructions on how to stretch, breathe and medi- tate.
Before attending, be sure to have a sturdy chair for balance, a basic yoga mat or a beach towel laid over your carpet, a small sweat towel and water to stay hy- drated.
Instructor Francine Loo, a former educator and avid yoga practitioner, will ex- plain the many perks of yoga, while also urging students to challenge them- selves at their own pace.
