Myra Kahele
Age 33, 5 feet 4, 165 pounds, brown hair and eyes. Kahele has 14 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.
On June 22, 2018, a man was walking in the Ka- pi‘olani area when he was approached by a woman. As he was speaking to her, he felt someone behind him reach into his backpack. He turned around and saw another woman taking property from his back- pack. Then, both women tried to take his backpack using physical force. He managed to hold on to his bag and call police. Officers were able to find both women nearby. They identified the woman who initially reached into his backpack as Kahele and arrested her for second-degree robbery.
Kaypee Bumanglag
Age 32, 5 feet 7, 120 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. Bumanglag has three prior convic- tions and is known to frequent the Honolulu and Waipahu areas.
On Oct. 30, 2021, a Honolulu Police Department officer saw a man driving a truck commit a traffic vi- olation in the Pearl City area. The officer attempted to stop the driver, but the driver refused to slow down, eventually crashing into a rock wall. The suspect then got out of the truck and left on foot. Officers were able to find him nearby. Bumanglag was identified and arrested for first-degree unauthorized control of a pro- pelled vehicle and driving without a valid license.
