What do you get when you cross Dracula’s henchman and a lunatic asylum patient/inmate? The punchline is Chris McKay’s comedy/horror fifilm Renfield, which is set to release in theaters April
14. Nicholas Hoult plays alongside Awkwafina in the titular role. Hoult’s character has spent
centuries doing his master’s every bidding and is now ready to see if there’s life beyond the shad- ow of the Prince of Darkness played by this actor who is usually known as a “national treasure.”

Seventy years ago this week, the world was introduced to a boy who can fly, his sassy fairy friend and a group of rebellious kids in Peter Pan. The story has been adapted time and time again, including in 1991’s Hook starring Robin Williams as Peter and Julia Roberts as Tinker Bell. In
