Dr. Dylan Bothamley
Vance Tsuda is deputy project director for the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation. He will assist in the overall management of project execution, including transit property and relocation, core systems, project controls, and design and construction. He will also provide a high level of management and policy support to HART’s project director and CEO.
Ku‘uleikūponookealoha Nāahi‘elua has been chosen to lead Wahiawā Center for Community Health’s new culturally relevant diabetes center, which will take a holistic approach to patient health. She is a triple-board certified nurse practitioner with degrees from University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, John Hopkins University and Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Dylan Bothamley joins Ronald McDonald House Charities Hawai‘i’s board of directors. Bothamley is an internal medicine hospitalist with Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group, Straub Medical Center. He joins about a dozen other community leaders and business professionals in guiding RMHC Hawai‘i’s mission of improving the lives of children with serious health conditions.

Janelle Higa has been promoted to senior vice president and director of financial performance at Bank of Hawai‘i. She was previously the vice president and manager of financial performance at the bank. She has been with Bank of Hawai‘i since 2013, holding a number of roles in treasury analytics, investor relations and financial planning and analysis.
Dr. Naoto Ueno will be director of the University of Hawai‘i Cancer Center. He is currently the executive director of the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Research Program at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he is also a tenured professor of medicine. Ueno has held various faculty and administrative positions at University of Texas since 1996.
Filifotu “Fotu” Vaai is vice president of consumer products and sales for Hawaiian Telcom. She has been with the company for five years and has nearly 20 years of experience in the technology industry. She will continue to manage Hawaiian Telcom’s consumer revenue, product pricing and sales teams. She was previously general manager at BlueSky Communications.
