Steven Tseu has joined Hawai‘i Job Corps Center as a marketing specialist in its outreach admissions/career transition service department. He will plan business engagement initiatives, recruit new students, develop partnerships with potential employers, and serve as a liaison between the program and the community.
Beth-Ann Kozlovich joins Communications-Pacific Inc. as vice president. Kozlovich was a voice in Hawai‘i media for nearly two decades. She created and hosted the Town Square and The Conversation programs on Hawai‘i Public Radio. She also serves on the boards of directors for Rotary Club of Honolulu, Mental Health America of Hawai‘i and Hawai‘i Arts Alliance.
Steve Ross has been appointed assistant head of school at Island Pacific Academy. He has 27 years of experience as an educator, including 10 years at Island Pacific Academy, where he was employed as a first-grade teacher and elementary school principal. He also worked on accreditation teams for the Hawai‘i Association of Independent Schools and is a Hawai‘i Council of Private Schools licensing board member.

Joan Lewis has been elected president of the Hawai‘i Education Association board of directors. She is currently an instructional coach at Kapolei High School and brings many years of experience working at the school, district, state and national levels. She has been an HEA member for the past 14 years.
Aaron Yamasaki joins the board of directors for Make- A-Wish Hawai‘i. He will help guide the nonprofit in its fundraising, philanthropy and community awareness goals in support of its vision of granting life-changing wishes to every eligible child in the state fighting a critical illness. Yamasaki is the division manager of Swinerton Hawai‘i.
Karesse Sato, who is the product development manager at Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union, has joined the 2022-23 Patsy T. Mink Leadership Alliance. The program is the only one in the state designed to help mid-career women advance their management and leadership skills. Sato will join 20 other women from diverse industries as part of the alliance’s seventh cohort.
