Martha Nobriga has been named “Member of the Year” by Honolulu Association of Insurance Professionals. The award recognizes her personal achievement, leadership abilities and dedication. Nobriga was past president of the organization, and part of its International Task Force for Member Services and Engagement for its 2022 convention committee.
Jhulian Gutierrez joins Kupu as program coordinator for its Environmental Education Leadership Development Program. He will implement, coordinate and evaluate programs within the Environmental Education Department and support staff in their work with community partners and schools. Prior to joining the nonprofit, Gutierrez spent five years with National Park Service.
Charmaine Hauanio-Kuewa has been promoted to divisional director of development for The Salvation Army Hawaiian & Pacific islands. She will oversee annual, major and planned gifts; corporate digital, emergency disaster services; grant writing; special events; and integrated strategic communications. She was previously donor relations director for The Salvation Army.

Lauren Yoshida has been named director of human resources for Kāhala Nui, a life-plan community featuring private apartments for independent and assisted living. Yoshida has more than 18 years of human resources experience and was most recently director of human resources for Pālolo Chinese Home. She is a graduate of University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.
The Rev. Gloria Imamura is pastor at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Waikīkī. She follows in the footsteps of her father, who was also a Lutheran pastor. Imamura has a degree in Christian education from the Lutheran Bible Institute in Seattle and a master’s degree in divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in California. She was previously pastor at Central Union Church and Makiki Christian Church.
Bob Eisminger has been named to Chaminade University’s board of governors. He cofounded Knight Point Systems and served as its CEO until 2019. Under his leadership, KPS made the Washington Post’s list of top workplaces. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and in 2018 was named one of the Distinguished Members of the West Point Society of D.C.
