HapaHaoles Hawaiian Street Tacos is in its second summer of operation, and it remains a popular stop for foodie fans at various loca- tions throughout Las Vegas and Henderson. The business is run by the Harvey fami- ly, who are originally from Maui. They are husband Gabe (aka “Haole Gabe”), wife Lora Lei (aka “Tita Wawa”) and son MaCallan. Collec- tively, they’ve been quite good at satisfying customers’ appetites.
HapaHaoles brings the alo- ha to the Ninth Island through its passion for food, as well as its sharing the flavors that the Harveys grew up with. While known for its Hawaiian street tacos, the food truck brings new options with its rolling menu. Of course, the most popular item being served is “The Works,” which consists of three tacos, hapa corn and ube mochi churro bites.

He adds that despite experienc- ing growing pains, he hasn’t regretted his decision to final-
