Jerry Seinfeld’s directorial debut will be about the beloved breakfast dessert pastry, Pop-Tarts. While Seinfeld himself will be starring in the Netflflix fifilm, he has also assembled numerous A-list cast members including Amy Schumer, Hugh Grant, Jim Gaffiffigan, James Marsden and this actress/comedian who starred in Identity Thief and Spy.
Director Todd Phillips will direct the sequel to the 2019 movie Joker. It will be called Joker: Folie a Deux (a French medical term for a rare mental disorder in which two people share the same delu- sion). Meanwhile, the film’s main actor Joaquin Phoenix has been busy completing Disappoint- ment Blvd., which also stars this actor who appeared in the 1996 comedy film The Birdcage.
Fans of the 1960s series The Munsters can look forward to a comedy-horror film of the same name coming out this year. The 2022 version is written, produced and directed by Rob Zombie, whose real-life wife, Sheri Moon Zombie, will play matriarch Lily Munster, alongside Jeff Daniel Phillips’ Herman Munster. Members of the original show expected to
make cameos in the movie include Pat Priest (Marilyn Munster) and this actor, who plays Eddie Munster in the original series.
Twenty-eight years ago this week, the world was introduced to Forrest Gump. From fighting in a war to captaining a shrimp boat, Gump, played by Tom Hanks, offered audiences some laughs and life lessons through his childlike optimism. The film has been referenced in Hollywood countless times, including in a 2012 song — which was a part of a Grammy Award-winning album — by this American singer/rapper who is headlining music festival Coachella next year.

National Kitten Day
  This year marks the 10th anniversary of National Kitten Day, which was founded by Colleen Paige, an animal behaviorist and activist who wanted to raise awareness for the cute and cuddly felines that are waiting to be rescued each year. So, what are you waiting for? Head over to Hawaiian Humane Society or another nearby shelter and find your next little furry friend.
