wrapped up, but several more events are eager to follow, in- cluding the Downtown Rocks Free Concerts in Downtown Las Vegas at the Fremont Street Experience.
It’s often said that nothing is free, but in this case these con- certs are completely free to the public! The lineup that kicks off in June and runs through November is jam-packed with well-known acts, including:
ing amount of dining options available in this area and on an upcoming episode of Ninth Is- land Connection, we’re going to share some of our favorites.

While change seems to be a constant on the Ninth Island, this is not the case for one Las Vegas performer. Icon- ic musician Carlos Santana recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of his residency at House of Blues inside of Mandalay Bay Casino. The artist, who has been entertain- ing fans for over five decades,
was also honored with a piece of the original Woodstock stage, which will be housed at the music venue. And fans can celebrate, as Santana has signed a multiyear extension at House of Blues, including various dates in September and November. In addition to creating music and memories for fans, the Santana residen- cy is responsible for a dona-
tion of more than $230,000 to benefit both the Milagro Foundation and the House of Blues’ Music Forward Foun- dation.
Catch Ninth Island Con- nection at 7 p.m. Wednesdays on K5 and 2 p.m. Sundays on KGMB.
