Panda Express Comes In First
Panda Express at Moanalua Shopping Center claimed the title of top Panda restaurant fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in 2021 after raising more than $45,000 for Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children, Hawai‘i’s only CMN hospital. UHWO Student Goes To Japan
The Consulate General of
Japan recently held an award presentation ceremony for
the 2022 Monbukagakusho (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology) Specialized Training College Students (Senshū Gakkō Ryūgakusei) Scholarships, and one recipient from Hawai‘i, Ace Cabangon (right), was selected to study in the field of culinary arts in Japan. The University of Hawai‘i – West O‘ahu student is the only one of three from the United States to receive this prestigious three-year scholarship. Pictured with
