Trish La Chica is executive director of the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Homelessness for the City & County of Honolulu. In this role, La Chica will continue addressing the root causes of homelessness and increase the city’s community engagement and outreach. Previously, she was community and government relations manager at AlohaCare for Hawai‘i Public Health institute.
Peter Miller has joined The Queen’s Health System as vice president of strategic marketing and communications. Miller will develop and oversee initiatives that build and enhance the Queen’s brand, amplify its message to the communities it serves, and promote its mission to improve the health and well-being of Native Hawaiians, as well as the people of Hawai‘i.
Ezralei Eugenio is program coordinator for work- based learning for Chamber of Commerce Hawai‘i. As a member of its Education & Workforce Development team, Eugenio is responsible for developing strategies to link Hawai‘i’s youth to work-based opportunities to further strengthen Hawai‘i’s schools and workforce. She received her master’s in educational psychology from University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.

Mac Narahara has been promoted to president for Haseko Hawai‘i Inc. Narahara has nearly 30 years of new business development and investment experience. Most recently, he served as executive vice president of Haseko and prior to that, held a number of positions with Mitsui & Company Ltd. Narahara earned his master’s in business administration from The New York University Stern School of Business.
Tomoko Naka is senior associate for HHF Planners. With 18 years of design experience, her landscape designs and project management ability have helped establish HHF’s reputation as a leader in creative and sustainable landscape architecture design in Hawai‘i. Naka’s professionalism and the thought, care and skill in each of her designs has garnered her awards, magazine covers and a loyal client base.
Dylan Nakano has been promoted to vice president in the commercial lines unit with Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. He will be responsible for initiating, servicing and retaining commercial clients. He specializes in construction and development. In addition, Nakano represents businesses in various other industries, including nonprofit, renewable energy and health care.
