First Hawaiian Bank Foundation and
Walter Dods Jr. — the bank’s former chairman, president and CEO — have made a combined contribution of $500,000 to University of Hawai‘i Foundation.
The funds will go toward the UH Mānoa RISE project, which is an innovation and entrepreneurship center as well as a space for student housing. As a token of gratitude, a classroom will be named after Dods in
