HawaiiUSA FCU started as a credit union for teachers. We have provided $761,500 in scholarships since 1990 and continue to support teachers through educator stipends. One of the most impactful ways we create generational change is by providing financial education resources to schools.
We’re proud of the culture of giving that we’ ve built. Last year, our employees volunteered 1,456 hours in the community and we sup- port their philanthropic ef- forts through company-paid volunteer time, a Pay it For- ward program, and matching their charitable contributions. Since 1936, our community spirit remains strong and we look forward to serving in perpetuity.
