    A Tasty Hawai‘i Collaboration
        Fall is the perfect season for festivals on the Ninth Island, and one recently held at Water Street Plaza in Downtown Hen- derson was the Aki Matsuri Japanese Festival. This one-day event brought in locals of all ages to enjoy the live entertainment, crafts and, of course, the food. One unique food booth was the collaboration of two popular Vegas restaurants: 2 Scoops of Aloha and Pā‘ina Café.
and Kip Goo (owner of Pā‘ina Café) say this partnership was a great collaboration. Many Ninth Island businesses owned by former Ha- wai‘i residents often work together to support one another, continuing to spread the aloha spirit here in Las Vegas.
