Netflflix recently announced that a That ‘70s Show spinoff is in the works. Titled That ‘90s Show, the series follows the daughter of the original show’s lead couple, Eric and Donna. So far, only
Kurtwood Smith (Red) and Debra Jo Rupp (Kitty) have signed on to reprise their roles. Only time will tell if this on-screen-turned-real-life couple will be cast as well.
The movie Twins, made in 1988, will get a sequel. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito are reuniting. But there’s a twist. This former Saturday Night Live cast member has been added as a third, unknown brother, and the new film will be called Triplets.
Seems like the kids from Twilight are going to be OK. Hawai‘i resident Justin Chon’s latest, Blue Bayou, has garnered notice on the film festival circuit and is out in theaters now. And, while Robert Pattinson’s Tenet was foiled by the pandemic, anticipation is high for his turn as The Caped Crusader when The Batman premieres next year. However, it’s this actor, who portrayed protagonist Bella, who’s generating Oscar buzz with her regal role as Princess Diana in Spencer, out on Nov. 5.
The movie Nanny McPhee, which hit theaters 16 years ago this week, is a delightful com-
edy-fantasy about a nanny (played by Emma Thompson) who, thanks to a sprinkling of magic, instills discipline in a home full of unruly children. Thompson drew inspiration for the screenplay from a popular British children’s book series. What are these books called?

    Give a homeless dog what it’s always wanted — a family to call its own. Make plans to head to Hawaiian Humane Society, O‘ahu SPCA, Ka‘a‘awa K9 Rescue, Paws of Hawai‘i or any one of the other local shelters to find your new best friend.
