Alicemae Martin is a production support manager at Homebridge Financial Services. In her new role, Martin will manage the local brokered loan pipeline, as well as serve as a liaison between sales and brokers. Martin brings nearly 20 years of banking and lending experience to the position. Previously, she worked for First Hawaiian Bank, Aloha Lending Services and B&B Mortgage Solutions.
Brian Helgerson is asset manager with Hunt Development Group, Hawai‘i Region. He oversees asset management activity within the Hunt portfolio, including in Kalaeloa, and ‘Āhuimanu on Kaua‘i. He will ensure optimal performance and occupancy with oversight of the leasing, property management and tenant management activities at his projects. Most recently, he worked for Kamehameha Schools.
Erin Peyton Kippen has been appointed to Girl Scouts of Hawai‘i’s board of directors. She will serve on the 21-member volunteer board to support GSH with its ongoing community outreach and fundraising efforts, while embodying its principles and mission. She is vice president, general counsel at Hawaiian Electric Industries Inc.

Scott Palmer has been promoted to senior vice president division manager of Central Pacific Investment Services with Central Pacific Bank. In this role, Palmer and his team will provide financial planning, investments and insurance solutions to local communities. He holds a bachelor’s in economics from University of California at Santa Barbara, as well as a certificate in financial planning from DePaul University.
Bernadette Merlino has been named senior vice president of strategic partnerships with The Queen’s Health Systems. She also continues as vice president of Queen’s Clinically Integrated Physician Network and president of Queen’s Development Corp. Merlino is responsible for the vision, organizational leadership, development and management of strategic partnerships for the health system.
Roger Khlopin is executive vice president, chief investment officer and director of investment management services at Bank of Hawai‘i. Khlopin and his portfolio management team oversee nearly $8 billion of discretionary fixed income and equity assets for high net worth and institutional clients. He has more than 25 years of experience in portfolio management and investment research.
