HSBF Grants $100,000 To Legal Aid Society Of Hawai‘i
Hawai‘i State Bar Foundation awarded a $100,000 grant to Legal Aid Society of Hawai‘i to assist those facing eviction. “We are grateful to HSBF for this significant investment to continue our work in providing critical legal assistance to families facing evictions,” states Nalani Fujimori Kaina, executive director of LASH. “HSBF, the charitable arm of our bar association, decided that we needed to step forward to make a difference to address the problem of impending evictions through the communities of our state,”adds Diane Ono, HSBF president.
