Wendy Manuel has been named vice president, COO and CFO of REHAB Hospital of the Pacific. She will continue to work closely with the president and CEO to manage several departments, including facilities, business development, financial services and more. Previously, Manuel was an audit senior manager at Ernst & Young.
Jayme Nonaka has been promoted to senior vice president at Bank of Hawai‘i. He is the director of IT application development. Since joining the bank’s Business eSolutions Team in 2006, he has held a variety of leadership roles within the IT division. Nonaka holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from University of the Pacific.
Tasha Sawai is CFO at Pālama Holdings LLC. She will enhance the company’s efforts to increase process efficiencies and strengthen its operations and financial strategies. She previously served as director of AATS LLC. Sawai earned a master’s in accounting and a bachelor’s in business administration from University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.

Norman Hong has joined The College of Fellows of The American Institute of Architects. He is the vice chairman and CEO of G70. This fellowship is the highest membership honor and is granted to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional work and contributions to architecture and society. Hong joined G70 in 1971 and became one of the firm’s principals in 1977.
Monica Salter is vice president, global communications and social responsibility with Outrigger Hospitality Group. She will continue to steer the company’s global communication strategy, along with an expanded role of leading its corporate social responsibility efforts, serving as the primary media contact and overseeing corporate partnerships.
Matthew Terry is an account executive with Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. In his new role, Terry will be supporting the sales and retention division by initiating and servicing commercial clients, and will assist in growing and retaining existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services. He graduated from University of Hawai‘i William S. Richardson School of Law.
