enowned eyelash and beauty artist Kristin Wood (pictured at left and bottom right) has launched a new lash service at her flagship studio (2885 S.
King St.), which will also give her clients exclusive access to an at-home line to be released later this year.
“Our new proprietary line allows for the same elevated style and quality Kristin Wood Lash guests are used to ... the same luxury services, but in less time,” notes Wood, adding that she is in talks to open a Kristin Wood Lash Salon in Utah this summer.
Born and raised in Honolulu and a 1996 graduate of Maryknoll High School, Wood has more than 20 years of permanent cosmetic experience. She opened Permanent Cosmetic Enhancing by Kristin in 1997, which was re- branded to Intradermal Cosmetics in 2020. She also opened Kristin Wood Lashes in 2007, specializing in eyelash ex- tension services, while developing products and techniques that have redefined the industry.
“We currently offer three different sets (Ready-to-Wear, Designer and Couture) to meet our personal safety require- ments, comfort in design and volume for each guest, and price consideration,” adds Wood. “I feel truly blessed to be able to add value to peoples’ lives. I’m very thankful to the guests that we have and all the support through the years.”
