Linda Kawakami is head of school at Trinity Christian School. She was appointed interim head of school in June 2020. Kawakami has been with the Kailua campus since 1996, and served as a fourth-grade teacher before taking on multiple concurrent roles as director of educational services, vice principal and library information specialist.
David Field is chief financial officer with AlohaCare. He will provide oversight of all finance and accounting functions, with his major responsibilities being budgeting, fifinancial management and business partner negotiations. Fieldholdsamaster’sinaccountancy,aswellasa bachelor’s of science in accounting, from Brigham m Young University.
Deborah Mattheus is an oral health state champion for Center for Integration of Primary Care and Oral Health’s 100 Million Mouths Campaign. Mattheus leads Hawai‘i in a nationwide initiative to improve oral health, and will work with schools to incorporate oral health into their curricula. She is also an associate professor with University of Hawai‘i.
Markus Krebs
Markus Krebs has been appointed general manager of Outrigger Reef Waikīkī Beach Resort. He will ensure operational excellence and guide the resort as it begins a full transformation. Previously, Krebs was general manager of Monarch Beach Resort in California. He brings more than 30 years of hotel experience to the position.
Dr. Pia Lorenzo has been named medical director of Kalākaua Gardens. She is board certifified in both internal medicine and geriatric medicine, and is a certifified medical director in long-terrmccaarere. Ben Kim has been named vice president of operational fifinance at Aqua-Aston Hospitality. In this newly created role, Kim will oversee the operational fifinance team, providing oversight for Aqua-Aston’s entire portfolio of managed properties and restaurants. Previously, Kim served as area director of fifinance for Destination Residences Hawai‘i.
