Wicked Spoon at The Cosmopol- itan became the only buffet open on The Strip as of March 25, though its hours have been reduced. Reservations are encouraged and can be made online at cosmopolitanlasvegas.com. Wicked Spoon now joins the Garden Buffet at South Point Casino as the only two buf- fets in Vegas.
In the near future, look for Resorts World’s Fa- mous Foods Street Eats, a 24,000-square-foot food hall inspired by Singapore hawker centers. The facility will be located just off of the casino floor and will be home to six different food venues, including Hong Kong-based Ah Chun Shandong Dump- ling, Geylang Claypot Rice (Southeast Asian), Dedet de la Fuente’s Pepita’s Kitchen, Springleaf Prata Place (Sin- gapore), Ten Suns (Thai), Taiwanese bubble tea shop Tiger Sugar, chef Marcus Samuelsson’s Sweetbird Las Vegas, Steve and Kevin Ao- ki’s Kuru Kuru Pa Yakitori, Mozz Bar by James Trees (Italian), Houston-based Blood Bros. BBQ and Nori Bar (sushi).
In addition to this exten- sive and elevated food court
cuisine, guests will be able to enjoy beers from all around the world from a self-pour automated beer system. Craft cocktails and wine will also be available at a “grunge” speakeasy. Resorts World is set to open this summer.
In addition to the return of established eateries, sev- eral new restaurants are also opening their doors. One es- tablishment that football fans may enjoy is the new Raiders Tavern & Grill at M Resort Spa Casino in Henderson. The 3,400-square-foot eatery is the first of its kind, boasting two bars, Raiders memorabil- ia and merchandise. This is sure to be a hot spot to catch Raiders games next season!
In addition to being a dining destination, Vegas is known for its pools. Just in time for those hot summer days, pools on The Strip and Downtown are welcoming guests at 50% capacity. If you’ ve soaked up the sun at a Vegas pool pre-pandemic, you’ re aware that they can get very busy, especially on weekends and holidays. To guarantee your spot, we suggest arriving early or re- serving a daybed or cabana. We also recommend consid- ering hotels with more pool options, which are able to accommodate more people.
