The Pearl City Elementary School Chess Club won first place in Hawai‘i Chess Federation’s Scholastic Tournament on March 25. Pearl City Elementary students Easton Bailey, Jacob Medearis and Albert Wang won medals in the kindergarten

Highlands In- termediate was awarded an equipment-and-accessory prize pack valued at approx- imately $1,700.
