tarting March 22, the African savanna will come to life on the Dr. Richard T. Mamiya Theatre stage, located on
Saint Louis School’s campus, and Leeward O‘ahu residents are invited to the show.
Disney’s The Lion King Jr. is a Tony Award-winning musical, and, with excep- tional actors and professional production by Mo‘olelo Performing Arts Studio, the show promises to be spectacular.
“Experience the stunning artistry, unfor- gettable music and exhilarating choreogra- phy of this musical theater phenomenon — one of the most awe-inspiring productions ever brought to life on stage,” says Kyle Ka- kuno, who has decades of experience curat- ing remarkable performances and currently serves as managing and artistic director of Mo‘olelo Performing Arts Studio, KaiHonua Entertainment and Mamiya Theatre.
The show will preview at 7:30 p.m. March 22, with subsequent performances at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and 2 p.m. Sat- urdays and Sundays, through April 2.
