  Scholarships Now Available
 University of Hawai‘i stu- dents interested in innovation and entrepreneurship are eli- gible to apply for scholarships to the school’s Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship program.
“These students will have the opportunity to gain trans- ferable skills while enriching the education of their peers and receiving scholarship support,” states PACE execu- tive director Sandra Fujiyama.
Atherton YMCA. RISE is an innovation-and-entrepreneur- ship center with 219 fully furnished single and double rooms for student housing. It is scheduled to be completed in 2023 and leasing applica- tions are open.
PACE is open to students of all disciplines at all 10 UH campuses, including Leeward Community College. There are 50 scholarships avail- able, ranging from $1,000 to $6,000.
In addition, Central Pacific Bank Foundation and Kame- hameha Schools are offering 25 separate scholarships to Native Hawaiian students in- terested in the program.
Students who live there will not only have brand-new amenities, but also proxim- ity to PACE programs in the classroom, makerspaces, meeting rooms and co-work- ing spaces also included in the building.
Those in the program will get to shape and design PACE curriculum and will gain hands-on experience to develop their leadership skills and grow an innovative com- munity.
All of these scholarships are intended to support stu- dents involved in PACE and/ or living in UH’s Residences for Innovative Student En- trepreneurs building, which is currently under construc- tion on the site of the former
