• CRAFT Learn how to create an ocean beach with resin at Ben Franklin Crafts Pearl City (850 Kamehameha Hwy.) from 2 to 4 p.m. All supplies are included and guests will leave with one heat tool, a 16-ounce Envirotex Resin kit, 10-by-10-inch canvas and two monkeypod bowls. The finished work will require a 24-hour drying period and can be collected after that time. Cost of class is $120 and is limited to four students per class (not recommended for pregnant

• COMIC Pealridge Center hosts Comic Jam Hawai‘i, a regu- lar social event of local artists who create collaborative cartoons, illus- trations and sketches while talking story. The gathering will be held at Wai Makai Center Court from 1 to 2 p.m. Approximately one dozen artists will get together and create cooperative art.
