 Help Campaign, Raise Funds For Animals Across The Island

   O‘ahu’s largest animal welfare organization, Hawai- ian Humane Society, is gear- ing up for its annual PetWalk fundraising event and cele- bration, and Leeward O‘ahu residents are welcome to get involved.

It all comes to a close on Oct. 29 at the in-person Pet- Walk that takes place at Ka- pi‘olani Regional Park. From 8 a.m. to noon, pets and peo- ple can expect costume con-

Those who raise funds will have the opportunity to receive “mahalo gifts,” and the first 50 individuals will be en- tered to win 50,000 Hawai- ianMiles.

The money raised will go directly toward helping the more than 20,000 local animals that seek Hawaiian Humane Society’s services each year. For example, $25 provides a week of food for an animal in the nonprofit’s care, $50 covers the cost of veterinary exams for two animals and $100 helps the organization microchip 12
