maʻāina and visitors. And now Leeward res- idents have easier access to Liliha Bakery’s popular coco puffs, poi mochi doughnuts and more at their newest location at Pearl High- lands Center, which opened Aug. 31.
“We’ve been wanting to open a location farther out of town servicing our Central O‘ahu and Westside communities for a while now,” explains Connie Wong, marketing and social media lead for Yummy Restaurant Group, which also oversees Liliha Bakery’s four other locations: the original on Kuaki- ni Street in Honolulu, the second Honolulu location on Nimitz Highway, the third at Ma- cy’s in Ala Moana Shopping Center and the fourth at International Market Place.
“Over the years, we’ve gotten a lot of re- quests asking if we could have a location in Pearl City, and when the opportunity arrived, we knew it was the right thing to do,” Wong elaborates. “Now that gas has risen so much,
