Pearl City Boy Earns Sweet Reward For All His Good Deeds

Offering a sweet commen- dation for his selfless efforts to impact the community for the better, Baskin-Robbins is hon- oring Caleb as the company’s 13th Pint-Sized Hero to date, treating him to a year of free ice cream.
As for Caleb and his family, the concept of service is noth- ing new and is a part of their daily life.
Even with many achieve- ments at a young age already, when he becomes an adult, Caleb wants to become a vet- erinarian to ensure the health and welfare of animals.
For example, after seeing his mother Reziel stressed out from a lengthy workday, Ca- leb decided to sing and play the ‘ukulele for her.
Caleb was inspired to help others at a young age by his mom Reziel and dad Noel. Reziel works as a counselor at Nānākuli High and Interme- diate School, while Noel is a teacher at Castle High School, and the family volunteers with multiple organizations to give back.
“Follow your passion and share it with the world. And use that passion to find your purpose,” Caleb says.
“It made me happy when he was playing music. You forget your worries,” Reziel says.
Caleb shares that his favor- ite flavor is America’s Birth- day Cake.

From there, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Caleb began visiting and performing for the elderly at care facilities throughout the community to enhance their spirits.
