       New Student Center Coming
Honolulu’s ‘Iolani School has released images of its soon-to-be-built student cen- ter. The three-story multi- purpose building, which will include spaces for dining, gathering and events in ad- dition to 16 new classrooms, space for a sixth-grade com- munity, a wellness center and a campus store, is sched-
  uled to be completed by the end of 2025.
and represents the single larg- est monetary donation in the school’s history.
According to ‘Iolani School, the center was made possible thanks to a $10 mil- lion donation from the Arrill- aga Foundation as designated by ‘Iolani parents Justine Sta- men Arrillaga and John Arrill- aga. The center will be named the Arrillaga Student Center
The facility is being de- signed by Hawai‘i-based WCIT Architecture and main- land-based Gensler.
   “We are tremendously grateful for this donation from the Arrillaga family and their partnership with us in this important initiative,” states ‘Iolani head of school Timo- thy Cottrell. “Community and connection are the heart of the ‘Iolani experience and the Arrillaga Student Center will further create and perpetuate these lifelong bonds.”
