Fundraiser Held For St. Andrew’s Schools
St. Andrew’s Schools in Honolulu raised about $400,000 in scholarship funding at its 2023 Queen Emma Ball last month. The money will support an es- timated 50 St. Andrew’s Schools students through their academic journeys and provide students of all backgrounds with an ex- traordinary education.
Also known as the “Lū‘au on the Square” in honor of Queen Emma Kale- leonālani, the event
is the school’s annu-
al fundraiser and the
first it held in person since 2019.
The donations were raised through spon- sorships, silent- and live-auction bidding,
and donations. Items
up for bid included travel packages, dining experiences and tickets to a Taylor Swift concert.
“Every child deserves a quality education and an empowering environment to motivate and challenge them,” states Ruth Fletch- er, head of school and president at St. Andrew’s Schools. “We are truly grateful for this support from the community. It’s
