Pālolo Elementary Fourth Graders Make Music
Providing keiki with a creative outlet and basic understanding of rhythm and musicality, Hawai‘i Youth Symphony and school administrators at Pālolo Elementary school recently worked to create a bucket drumming class for fourth graders. The Pālolo Elementary Pakeke Ensemble is led by Hawai‘i Youth Symphony faculty member and Hawai‘i Symphony Orchestra percussionist Chris Cabrera.
