He moved to the United States in 1992 and he started up a band, Voice of Extreme. One of his most exciting moments was when Nicko McBrain, the drummer from Iron Maiden, became co-manager of his band.
“When I first moved to Hawai‘i, I was really im- pressed by how many hard working musicians are here like Henry Kapono and Tav- ana,” he says.
