Congressman Ed Case is seeking a Staff Assistant for his Honolulu District Office. Responsibilities range from administrative duties and assisting constituents with questions and concerns, to staffing the Congressman on his activities when he is in district, representing the office at community events and coordinating DC and district issues. Preference given to (1) prior experience in government and/or in comparable duties including customer service and (2) Hawai‘i background. Applicants are asked to detail these attributes. The position also requires initiative, interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, work independently and effectively under pressure, make decisions and solve problems, orientation to detail, and verbal communication and writing skills. Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends.
