The annual dinner will feature guest speakers dis- cussing various projects in Wahiawā such as the Wa- hiawā Civic Center and the development of the State Packing and Processing Fa- cility in Whitmore Village.
Those looking to get in- volved with and support the organization are invited to attend the WCBA annu- al dinner at 6 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Central O‘ahu Event Center (130 Mango St.) in Wahiawā. The cost of a 10- seat table is $500, and indi- vidual tickets for those age 11 and older are $55 apiece, the cost to attend for those ages 6-10 is $30, and at- tendees age 5 and under get in free.
According to Benavitz, the event will also feature a tribute to the late Libby Smithe who was a board member of the WCBA and other organizations in Wa- hiawā. There will also be live entertainment as well as Wahiawā trivia and a si- lent auction featuring items from area businesses and residents.
Those interested in be- coming a member of the WCBA can find more information and regis- ter at ourwahiawa.com. The organization hosts monthly meet-and-greet opportunities called “Con- necting the Dots,” as well as popular town hall meet- ings throughout the year.
