New Year’s Eve Pineapple Drop celebration will begin at 5 p.m. Dec. 31 at Town Center of Mililani (95-1249 Meheula Pkwy.). This year’s family-friendly festivities will feature music by Ten Feet on stage, along with per- formances by the Asian Lion Dance Team and Ryugen Taiko. At 7 p.m. (midnight New York time), synced with the Times Square ball drop, the center’s illuminat- ed 12-foot tall pineapple will descend for onlookers, as they count down to the year 2023. There will also be give- aways of free LED foam light wands, while supplies last. It will be emceed by Devon Nekoba of 94.7 KUMU.
