 Central, North Shore Robotics Teams Advance In Competition
Robotics teams from schools in Central O‘ahu and the North Shore are among those who qualified to advance to the 2022 VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, May 3-12. Sponsored by Hawaiian Electric, the Hawai‘i VEX Robotics State Championships were held in February and March. Advancing teams include two from Hale‘iwa Elementary School, Mililani Mauka Elementary School, Mililani Mechs Robotics, and three teams from Waialua High and Intermediate School. Local elementary, middle and high school robotics teams will showcase their game strategy, design and teamwork skills for an opportunity to be crowned champions at the world-class global event.
