 Central O‘ahu Residents Can Sign Up For Great Aloha Run

 Registration is now open for the 38th annual Hawai‘i Pacific Health Great Aloha Run, and, good news for Central O‘ahu residents, the event will take place virtu- ally for the second year in a row.

    Participants have the op- portunity to run the 8.15- mile foot race at any loca- tion at any time between Feb. 18 and 21.
Registration costs $30- $40, depending on age. Last year, the event raised $238,000, which benefit- ed more than 50 charitable organizations in the local community.
“Despite these challeng- ing times, the Great Aloha Run is committed to the health and well-being of the people of Hawai‘i, and there’s no doubt that our Ha- wai‘i charities need our sup- port now more than ever,” states Carole Kai Onouye, who founded the Great Alo- ha Run and continues to spearhead and voluntarily organize the race through Carole Kai Charities Inc. “While the COVID-19 pan- demic forced us to pivot again and find a way to still have the race in 2022, our commitment to giving back to the community remains strong and is what drives us!”
