Lilikoi
Michelle Van Veenendaal (pictured above), owner of LBDB Little Black Dress & Bikini in Kahala Mall, has opened a new boutique called Lilikoi at Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki. “‘Lilikoi’ is the Hawaiian word for passion fruit, and it adeptly describes my passion for both Hawaii and the local designers who are flourishing here,” says Van Veenendaal, who was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and moved to Hawaii in 1992. “We carry designer bikinis and resort wear, but also a growing representation of local designers of swimwear, clothing and accessories. I am always looking for new Hawaii designers to showcase at Lilikoi.”
