Hawaii World Class Wedding Expo XXXIII
Calling all brides-to-be! The Hawaii World Class Wedding Expo XXXIII takes place Oct. 3 and 4 at Hawaii Convention Center with approximately 150 vendors in one location to assist with all your wedding needs.
There also will be fashion shows (at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 3, and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 4) featuring the latest in wedding gowns, tuxedos and bridesmaid dresses.

“The trend this year for wedding gowns is a style that covers the shoulder,” says Claudette Takimoto, owner of Party Dress by Claudette. “Also, the mermaid style, where the bottom really poofs out, and a ball gown with a full skirt.
“For color, ivory is still popular for lace, and white for tulle ball gowns. And belts are still strong for accessory.”
Expo hours are from 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 3, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 4. Admission is $9. For more information, visit BridesChoiceHawaii.com
