Winter Carnival Fun Friday At St. Anthony

“Hawaii Through The Decades” is the theme for this year’s St. Anthony School Winter Carnival, where families will not only enjoy fun and games from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, but learn about the Aloha State at the same time.

Each game and activity booth, sponsored by the school’s faculty and classroom parents, will offer facts and features of the Islands. The fun continues with rides, a rock-climbing wall, sports cage, bouncy houses, pony rides and much more. Entertainment includes St. Anthony and Iolani school hula performances and music by Marine Corps Party Band and Playing Simple Band.

You won’t go away hungry, as local restaurants and businesses, as well as SAS Athletics, the student council and PTSG will be out in force to man the food booths for Friday night noshing. There’s much more in store, and the community is welcome.

The school is located at 148 Makawao St. in Kailua. For more information on the carnival, email ptsg@saskailua.org. For information about the school, call 261-3331.
