Wahiawa Lions To Serve Breakfast April 22

The Wahiawa Lions are hosting their 16th annual fundraiser breakfast April 22 in the Leilehua High School cafeteria.

The menu includes fresh scrambled eggs from Peterson Upland Farm, sausages, steamed rice, banana bread, fresh pineapple and beverage. Entertainment is by Kanani Oliveira Hula Studio.

“This is the Wahiawa Lions’ only fundraiser for the year, and we need the community’s support,” said club president Jim Hatfield.

“Our ability to help the community in such ways as providing scholarships for graduating Leilehua High School seniors, staging the Veterans Day Parade, screening students for sight and hearing problems, and helping our public schools depends on the success of this breakfast.”

Breakfast runs from 7 to 11 a.m. Tickets cost $6. For more information, call Lion Jack Kampfer at 621-0852. Takeout dishes are available.
