Underground Imu For Underwater Robot

Kailua High School’s Underwater Robotics Team will have a benefit imu roast June 15 on campus, and cooking space is on sale now to the public for $20 per aluminum tray of thawed, seasoned and well-wrapped meat.

(Five dollars of the fee will go to cover supplies, equipment, repair and maintenance of the imu and to a scholarship fund.)

“The team has qualified for the national competition in Florida,” explained imu master Todd Hendricks, “so faculty, staff, students and alumni will be working hard to help raise funds for their trip.”

Trays should be delivered between 3 and 4:30 p.m. June 15 at the imu site directly across from the AFJROTC building.

Pickup time is 8 to 9:30 a.m. June 16. Mail-in deadline is June 11, and weight limit is 25 pounds per tray. Only the first 350 orders can be accepted. Hendricks also advises customers to make three deep cuts in the meat, if cooking pork butt, roast or ham.

Mail checks, payable to Kailua High School, 451 Ulumanu Drive, Kailua HI 96734. Write “Attention IMU” on the lower left corner of the envelope. Enclose phone number and a self-addressed stamped envelope for the imu tag and receipt.
