Moani Yoga in Waikiki
At the corner of Kuhio Avenue and Nohonani Street in Waikiki is Moani Yoga, a new boutique that caters to yogis and women seeking comfortable yet feminine fashions.
“I wanted yoga wear that was not too sporty but more wearable in my daily lifestyle,” says owner Emi Paine (pictured above). “This born-in-Hawaii yoga wear is inspired by women who embrace the natural and earthy side of oneself. The original color patterns are influenced by Hawaiian nature, organic cotton and soft fabrications, and are used to hug the body gently as moani (a gentle breeze).”
The store carries yoga wear, women’s apparel and accessories, such as yoga mats, tote bags and hair ties. Many items are eco-friendly, and there are some men’s and kids’ clothing as well.
