WELCOME TO Kimo’s Vegas … the Player’s Edge!

BIG ISLAND RESIDENT Rosanne Barr takes some time from her 50-acre mac nut farm to check into the Laugh Factory at the Tropicana. Showtime for the comedian, radio host, actress, author, writer and ex-presidential candidate is 7 p.m. Saturday-Thursday starting Jan 14.

KANYE WEST AND Kim Kardashian announced their pregnancy just before heading to Vegas for New Year’s. The couple says the baby’s arrival will not be on TV … Does that suggest a temporary name change to Keeping Up with SOME of the Kardashians?

ON CHRISTMAS EVE, Santa smiled on a player at the Four Queens with a $1,352,715.27 present … That’s how much the Millionaire Sevens slot machine progressive jackpot paid an anonymous player after a $3 spin.

THEN THE $1 Wheel of Fortune hit at the Cosmopolitan for $1,359,167.32.

THE HITS keep on coming … A few days later at Caesars Palace, a lady from Texas hit the Bombs Away Bombshell progressive slot machine $2,832,044.74.

THE PLAYERS WIN… Las Vegas books report that this NFL season has been their worst ever. Bettors made millions as the favorites covered the point spread every week.

THE TI closes Siren Cove, home of the “Sirens of the TI” show, annually for cleaning and repairs. According to an article in the Las Vegas Sun, some of the things they find in the water include coin of the realm and paper money, cell phones, purses, engagement and wedding rings (never get into a fight with the significant other in front of the cove) and strollers.

LAST YEAR the top five home sales in Las Vegas ranged from $4.5 million for Nicolas Cage’s 14,306-square-foot home to $8.35 million for a 10,650-square-foot crib.

ELVIS WOULD HAVE been 78 Jan. 8, and this year also happens to be the 40th anniversary of his “Aloha from Hawaii” concert. To celebrate, Graceland, the King’s Memphis home, is adding two new exhibits this year. The first open now is “Elvis Hawaii: Concerts, Movies and More,” and it will be followed by “Elvis: Live from Vegas,” which opens March 8. Both will include never-before-exhibited memorabilia and never-before-seen footage of The King.

HILTON HAWAIIAN VILLAGE will host Elvis fans and representatives of Elvis Presley Enterprises all week (Jan. 10-15) as they celebrate “Elvis & the 40th Anniversary of Aloha from Hawaii.” Festivities include a tour of Elvis’ Hawaii, a special Legends tribute, private screening of the anniversary DVD and hanging out with The King’s friends and co-stars, including MidWeek columnist Tom Moffatt.
