Top Chefs Cook It Up For IPA

Island Pacific Academy hosts its inaugural Food For Thought Saturday on its Kapolei campus.

The event benefits the school’s programs and Project Graduation 2015. Guests are invited to enjoy entertainment, and a silent auction and raffle. All proceeds from the silent auction go to the Class of 2015’s Project Graduation.

Also featured will be 13 dishes from participating Island chefs: Elmer Guzman of Poke Stop, Roy Yamaguchi of Roy’s, DK Kodama of Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar, Chai Chaowasaree of Chef Chai, Lee Anne Wong of Koko Head Cafe, and Fred DeAngelo of Ola and The Grove.

The menu features an eclectic range of creations, such as Cornflake Crusted French Toast from Wong, and Fresh Kumamoto on Ice with Lemongrass Garlic Migonette from Chaowasaree. Beer and wine pairings for each dish also will be available.

For those with small keiki, the sophomore class will provide child care for $25 for the first child, and $15 for each additional child, which includes dinner, games and activities. Proceeds will go to the Class of 2016’s Project Graduation.

The cost to attend Food For Thought is $78.
